In the late 2000's Sam and Kevin regularly performed across Canada in a children's musical outfit called Sam's Rot'n Pot'n Pan Band. Their shows ended with a crowd-pleasing finale song about finally finding a long-sought treasure map.
But finding a map is not the same as finding treasure.
And what exactly is treasure anyway?
A sequel song was written. Sadly it was not performed--Kevin had moved to Toronto, Sam was in Vancouver.
A decade later, mid-pandemic, wondering what to do with all the music they had kept writing together, the old friends seized on the idea of expanding that single song into a larger story. A story which then got out of hand. Way out of hand.
Six years in the making.
And it's finally done.
